Job Title: Account Executive
Location: Hiring in: Chicago, New York, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, DC
Salary: Base Salary: $70K-$118K, Total OTE: $150K-$250K+
Requirements: At least 3 years experience in commercial/industrial flooring or other construction sales

Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Account Executive to join our team in the Industrial Coatings sector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding market presence for our range of industrial coatings, including epoxy, resinous, and urethane products. This position requires a proactive approach to territory sales and a strong understanding of customer needs in various industrial applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients in the industrial coatings market.
  • Identify new business opportunities and drive sales growth within the assigned territory.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to educate clients on the benefits of our coatings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop targeted sales strategies and promotional materials.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers regarding product selection and application.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales tactics and product development.
  • Prepare and deliver sales reports, forecasts, and business proposals to management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in construction sales
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in industrial coatings or a related industry.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial coatings, including epoxy, resinous, and urethane products.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a territory sales role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts effectively.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend industry events.
