Acoustical Ceiling Estimator

Position Overview
The Acoustical Ceiling Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed estimates for acoustical ceiling projects in the commercial sector. This role involves analyzing project specifications, collaborating with project managers and contractors, and ensuring that all estimates meet the company's standards and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze project plans and specifications to develop accurate estimates for acoustical ceiling installations.
Prepare detailed cost estimates including material, labor, and overhead for commercial ceiling projects.
Collaborate with project managers and contractors to gather information and clarify project requirements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, materials, and cost trends affecting acoustical ceiling and drywall markets.
Provide timely and accurate estimates to support project bidding and proposal processes.
Assist in creating and maintaining a database of historical project costs for future reference.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an estimator in the construction industry, specifically with acoustical ceilings.
Strong knowledge of commercial ceiling, wall, and drywall systems.
Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills to ensure accurate cost assessments.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
Detail-oriented with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
