Attorney - Family Law

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Attorney specializing in Family Law to join our team. The ideal candidate will represent clients in legal proceedings related to family matters, providing expert legal advice and support throughout the trial preparation process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in family law cases such as divorce, child custody, and adoption
  • Prepare legal documents including petitions, motions, and briefs
  • Conduct legal research and provide sound legal advice to clients
  • Develop trial strategies and prepare for court appearances
  • Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients' interests in mediation sessions
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law regulations and legal practices
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court
  • Manage case files and ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines
Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law practice
  • Strong legal writing and research skills
  • Proven ability to prepare for and conduct trials
  • Excellent negotiation and mediation skills
  • Knowledge of intellectual property law is a plus
  • Experience in litigation and compliance is preferred
