Job Title: Audit Manager / Sr. Tax Manager (pay will be higher than below)

Salary: $130-165K (DOE)

Location: Must be located near an office in Chicago

Schedule: Remote/Hybrid

Requirements: Min 4-7+ years Public Accounting 7 tax Exp, CPA or EA or CPA eligible

***Hybrid position with the opportunity to work both in office in Chicago as well as remotely from home during the week

What You Will Be Doing

" Coordinate, organize, and schedule engagements to ensure all deadlines are met
" Prepare audit strategies and assess audit risks
" Manage multiple audit or review engagements
" Review financial statements and related disclosures to ensure compliance with reporting requirements
" Review engagement work papers
" Research accounting issues and provide solutions
" Properly plan and manage engagements to ensure completion
" Become an expert within assigned niches
" Assist in special projects assigned
" Assist with peer review planning and compliance
" Recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients
" Minimal travel requirements

What You Need for this Position

4+ years of professional public accounting Audit/Assurance experience
BS in Accounting
Ability to work collectively with clients, managers & co-workers
Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and research abilities
Experience with Real Estate Accounting / co-ops/condos
Experience with Tax
CPA is req.
