Position Overview
The Aviation Chief Inspector will oversee all maintenance and inspection operations of the 145/135 Repair Station, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality. This role is crucial in leading a team of inspectors and mechanics to achieve operational excellence in corporate aviation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the inspection and maintenance processes for the 145/135 Repair Station.
- Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and company policies in all maintenance activities.
- Supervise and mentor maintenance staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of maintenance work to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Coordinate with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and address any maintenance-related issues.
- Maintain detailed records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years in corporate aviation
- Minimum of 5 years inspection experience
- Valid A&P License required.
- Experience working in a Repair Station environment.
- Knowledge of charter fleet operations and corporate aviation standards.
- Experience with Bell 429 and Hawker 900XP aircraft.
- Possession of an Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred.
- Must have experience conducting Required Inspection Items (RII) for maintenance operations.
