Business Litigation Paralegal / Legal Secretary

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Business Litigation Paralegal / Legal Secretary to support our legal team in managing business and commercial litigation cases. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in legal support, excellent communication skills, and a keen understanding of litigation processes.

Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings, trials, and depositions
Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials
Conduct legal research and gather relevant case information
Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date
Communicate with clients, witnesses, and court personnel as needed
Manage attorney calendars, scheduling appointments and court dates
Assist in trial preparation, including preparing exhibits and trial binders
Review and summarize legal documents and case files

Qualifications

Paralegal certification preferred
3+ years of experience as a paralegal / legal secretary in business or commercial litigation
Strong knowledge of legal terminology and procedures
Proficient in legal research and writing
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
