Position Overview

Based in the Inland Empire of Southern California, we're an established engineering firm that's been in business for over 25 years. We've completed over 3000 projects throughtout Southern California are expanding.

Currently, we're seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with an active Professional Engineer license to join our team. This person responsible for leading, reviewing and overseeing various construction and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will work on land development, transportation projects, and public works, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

Review civil engineering projects including roads, bridges, and land development plans.
Conduct site assessments and surveys to gather data for design purposes.
Review engineering plans, specifications, and reports.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
Collaborate with other engineers, architects, and construction professionals to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Participate in project meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to discuss project progress and issues.
Prepare documentation for permits and approvals required for construction projects.
Assist in the management of construction projects to ensure they meet design specifications and quality standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is required.
7+ years of experience in civil engineering, with a focus on land development and transportation projects.
Familiarity with civil engineering software, such as Civil 3D.
Knowledge of local, state, and federal construction codes and regulations.
Experience with public works and municipal construction projects is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
