Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Heavy-Highway Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for civil engineering projects, including heavy-highway construction. This role is key to ensuring projects are financially viable and align with client expectations.

This position is in office Monday-Friday

Key Responsibilities

Review project plans and specifications to understand the scope of work.
Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and pricing estimates for civil construction projects.
Analyze labor, material, and time requirements to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure accurate estimates.
Participate in bid preparation and negotiation with clients and subcontractors.
Monitor project costs and assist in budget management throughout the project lifecycle.
Provide input and expertise during the project planning and design phases.

Qualifications

Proven experience in heavy-highway civil projects is a must! Superintendents and Project Managers who are interested in becoming an Estimator will be considered for the role as long as you have heavy-highway civil experience.
Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
Proficiency in estimation software and tools.
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
