Commercial Superintendent

Position Overview
The Commercial Superintendent will oversee and manage commercial construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to coordinate various trades and subcontractors effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise all onsite construction activities and ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are achieved.
  • Monitor project progress and budget, making adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
  • Manage schedules and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • Provide training and support to construction crews and subcontractors to enhance productivity and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members to report project progress and address any issues.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial construction processes and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience in managing multi-family, office, retail, education, government, and worship center projects is a plus.
  • Certification in OSHA safety standards and first aid training is preferred.
