Construction Project Manager
Position Overview
The Construction Project Manager will oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies, to ensure compliance with all regulations and project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, initiate, and manage construction projects effectively and efficiently.
- Coordinate and supervise construction processes from the conceptual development stage through final construction.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes, including EPA and OSHA standards.
- Prepare and manage project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Communicate with clients, contractors, and team members to provide updates and resolve issues.
- Review and approve design and construction documents, utilizing software tools such as AutoCAD.
- Implement and manage project risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation including contracts, permits, and change orders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
- Familiarity with EHR systems and construction administration best practices.
- Experience with HVAC systems and NPDES compliance is a plus.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse team.
- 50% travel, 2-4 days at a time.
