Job Title: Controls/Solutions Engineer

Location: 50-75% REMOTE with the remainder travel in the region

Growing company with two regions available currently- Upper Midwest Territory (Can be located near greater Minneapolis, Sioux Falls or Des Moines) AND Pacific Northwest Territory (Can be located near Seattle, Portland, Vancouver or Spokane)

*Relocation available*

Salary: Up to ~$110k base with incredible benefits

Must Have Skills: Motion Control products, PLC & VFD programming, AC Motors/Servo motors, and familiarity with encoders, HMI, and fieldbus systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to analyze their needs and propose tailored solutions involving motors, PLCs, servos, and drives.
  • Design and implement technical solutions that improve efficiency and meet project requirements.
  • Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the implementation phase.
  • Work closely with sales and engineering teams to ensure alignment on project goals and client expectations.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to solutions design, implementation, and client interactions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in solutions engineering or a similar technical role.
  • Strong knowledge of motors, PLCs, servos, and drive systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
