Cybersecurity Lead
Position Overview
The Cybersecurity Lead will be responsible for overseeing and implementing security strategies to protect the organization's information systems and data. This role requires a strong understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and best practices to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cybersecurity policies and procedures to safeguard the organization's assets.
- Lead the cybersecurity team in the assessment and management of security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as CMMC and RMF, and maintain documentation for audits.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to integrate security into the system development lifecycle (DevSecOps).
- Conduct security training and awareness programs for employees to foster a culture of security.
- Monitor security incidents and coordinate the response to mitigate threats and breaches.
- Evaluate and implement security technologies to enhance the organization's security posture.
- Perform risk assessments and recommend appropriate security controls and measures.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of CMMC, eMass, and other cybersecurity frameworks.
- Experience with risk management, incident response, and threat analysis.
- Familiarity with security tools and technologies such as SIEM, vulnerability assessment tools, and endpoint security solutions.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are preferred.
