Sr. Electrical Estimator

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Electrical Estimator to join our dynamic team. This position is responsible for accurately estimating the costs associated with electrical projects, ensuring that all proposals meet client specifications and are delivered on time. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and construction estimation, with a proven ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze project blueprints and specifications to prepare accurate cost estimates for electrical projects.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to understand project requirements and scope.
Utilize estimation software such as Accubid and Livecount to generate detailed cost breakdowns.
Prepare comprehensive bid proposals and submit them to clients in a timely manner.
Conduct site visits and assessments to gather necessary data for project estimation.
Assess and manage risks related to projects and provide mitigation strategies.
Maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Electrical Estimator or in a similar role.
Proficient in estimation software including Accubid and Livecount.
Strong understanding of electrical systems, underground utilities, and construction practices.
Experience with lighting systems and data centers is highly desirable.
Excellent blueprint reading skills and attention to detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
