Electrical PM
Position Overview
The Electrical PM is responsible for overseeing electrical construction projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations, and managing a team of electricians and subcontractors. The role requires strong leadership and project management skills to effectively coordinate multiple projects within commercial and industrial settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations and safety standards.
- Coordinate and supervise the work of electricians and subcontractors to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and reports for multiple projects.
- Act as a liaison between management, clients, and project teams to ensure clear communication and project alignment.
- Conduct site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and adherence to design specifications.
- Assist in estimating project costs and preparing bid proposals.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior team members and new hires.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in electrical construction, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and best practices.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in both commercial and industrial electrical projects.
