Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Estimator to join our preconstruction team in Georgia. This role is responsible for leading the estimating process on light industrial projects, including tilt-up and precast concrete construction. The ideal candidate will bring deep industry knowledge, strong analytical skills, and a collaborative approach to delivering accurate and competitive bids.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for light industrial construction projects.
Analyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive bid packages.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and field teams to ensure alignment on scope and pricing.
Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotes.
Identify cost-saving opportunities through value engineering.
Maintain and update historical cost data and estimating tools.
Participate in bid reviews, client presentations, and contract negotiations.
Mentor junior estimators and contribute to team development.

Qualifications:

7+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction estimating.
Proven experience with tilt-up, precast, and other light industrial building systems.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricing.
Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneously.
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
