Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Estimator specializing in Underground Wet Utilities to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately estimating costs related to wet utilities projects including storm drains, sewers, and pipelines. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates for underground wet utilities projects including storm drains, sewer systems, and pipelines.
Analyze project blueprints and specifications to determine necessary materials and labor costs.
Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop accurate bids and proposals.
Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and gather relevant data for estimation.
Review and evaluate subcontractor proposals to ensure compliance with project requirements and budget.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and regulations to inform estimates.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an estimator in underground wet utilities projects.
Proficiency in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
