Position Overview
The Facilities/Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operations of the facility, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment. The role involves managing staff, budgets, and vendor relationships while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the facility
  • Manage preventive maintenance programs for all facility systems
  • Develop and manage budgets for facility operations and maintenance
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repair services
  • Lead and supervise maintenance staff and contractors
  • Implement energy management initiatives to reduce costs
  • Develop and enforce facility policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding facility status and projects
  • Solve problems related to facility operations and maintenance issues

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or related field
  • Proven experience in facility operations and maintenance management
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
  • Experience with budgeting and financial management
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to solve problems and manage conflict effectively
  • Understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards
  • Proficient in project management and vendor management
  • Experience in energy management and sustainability practices
