Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. This role focuses on defending healthcare providers against various claims, including medical malpractice and regulatory issues, while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities

Represent healthcare providers in litigation and pre-litigation matters
Conduct depositions, mediations, and trials
Draft and file motions, pleadings, and other legal documents
Manage the discovery process, including the review and production of documents
Advise clients on legal rights and obligations regarding healthcare regulations
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand cases and prepare defenses
Stay updated on changes in healthcare law and litigation strategies

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in healthcare litigation or related fields
Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certified and in good standing with the Florida Bar Association
Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance
Proven track record of success in trial and appellate litigation
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
