We are a leading law firm is seeking a talented and motivated Insurance Defense Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience to join our growing Tampa office. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with experience in insurance defense litigation to handle a wide range of cases in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all aspects of insurance defense litigation, including personal injury, property damage, commercial disputes, and professional liability claims.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
- Take and defend depositions, as well as attend hearings, mediations, and trial preparation.
- Analyze complex legal issues, provide strategic advice, and develop defense strategies.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys to provide counsel to clients, ensuring high-quality representation.
- Manage a caseload from inception to resolution, ensuring timely and effective handling of all matters.
- Maintain communication with clients, keeping them informed and providing sound legal counsel.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in 1st or 3rd Party Coverage insurance defense.
- Strong understanding of insurance law, coverage issues, and defense strategies.
- Excellent litigation skills, including drafting legal documents and taking depositions.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage a caseload and work effectively in a team environment.
- Florida Bar membership required.
