Litigation Paralegal

Position Overview
My client is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to support their legal team in handling a variety of litigation cases, particularly those involving medical malpractice, wrongful death, birth injury, and personal injury. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and be adept at managing case files, conducting legal research, and assisting attorneys in trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities

Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents and pleadings
Manage case files and maintain organization of documentation
Conduct legal research and summarize findings
Prepare discovery documents and assist in the discovery process
Liaise with clients, witnesses, and experts as needed
Assist in trial preparation by organizing exhibits and materials
Attend court hearings and trials to provide support to attorneys
Draft pleadings, motions, and correspondence as required

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in paralegal studies
Certification from a recognized paralegal program preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal
Strong knowledge of litigation processes and legal terminology
Experience with medical malpractice, wrongful death, birth injury, and personal injury cases is a plus
Excellent research, writing, and communication skills
Proficient in legal research tools and software
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
