Position Overview
The Production Supervisor will oversee daily operations in the manufacturing facility, ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining safety standards and product quality. This role is integral in managing team performance and facilitating communication between departments to optimize production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet output targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
- Lead and mentor the production team, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions to enhance productivity.
- Oversee the maintenance of equipment and facilities, ensuring optimal operational performance.
- Manage inventory levels and ensure proper handling of raw materials and finished products.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline production processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of safety compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Familiarity with HVAC and mechanical systems maintenance.
- Proficient in inventory management practices and facility maintenance.
- Background in food manufacturing is preferred.
