Manufacturing Production Manager - Power Electronics

Position Overview
Based in Walpole, MA, we are a high-mix low-volume (HMVL) manufacturing company with all hand assemblers and focus on testing and quality. Although a Manager title, it's a very hands-on position at a smaller company. The Manufacturing Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the production process in a high-paced manufacturing environment. 

Prior experience with military or highly-regulated products is ideal. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day manufacturing operations to ensure production efficiency and quality.
  • Implement and maintain ISO 9000 standards and ensure compliance across all production processes.
  • Lead and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and teamwork.
  • Optimize production processes using Lean methodologies, including 5S and 6 Sigma, to reduce waste and improve quality.
  • Oversee the assembly of PCBAs and ensure all products meet military and other regulated product requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Bill of Materials (BOMs) and ensure accurate documentation of production processes.
  • Monitor production metrics and prepare reports for upper management, identifying areas of improvement.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing management role, preferably in a high-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Power Electronics and PCB / PCBA assembly processes.
  • Proficient in implementing ISO 9000 standards and Lean manufacturing principles.
  • Experience with Box Builds - High-mix low-volume (HMLV) manufacturing. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
