Plumbing Foreman
Position Overview
The Plumbing Foreman will oversee plumbing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This role involves managing a team of plumbers, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of plumbing crews on job sites.
- Plan and schedule plumbing work to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes throughout the project.
- Manage inventory of plumbing materials and equipment on-site.
- Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of plumbing installations and repairs.
- Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and other trades to facilitate workflow.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior plumbers and apprentices.
Qualifications- Proven experience as a plumber with a strong knowledge of plumbing systems and techniques.
- Previous experience in a supervisory role, preferably as a foreman.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) installations.
- Strong knowledge of building materials and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Good organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
- Valid plumbing license and relevant certifications.
