Power Systems Control Engineer

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Power Systems Control Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control strategies for electrical power systems, focusing on enhancing system reliability and efficiency. You will work on integrating renewable energy sources and optimizing grid operations through advanced simulation and modeling techniques.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement control systems for electrical power applications.
Conduct load flow analysis and dynamic simulations to assess system performance.
Develop and optimize SCADA systems for real-time monitoring and control.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate renewable energy solutions into existing grids.
Utilize Matlab and Simulink for system modeling and control strategy development.
Perform signal processing and analysis to improve system reliability.
Manage PLC programming for automation of control systems.
Analyze protection systems to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Proven experience in control systems and power systems engineering.
Familiarity with SCADA systems and PLC programming.
Strong knowledge of renewable energy technologies and grid integration.
Proficient in Matlab and Simulink for simulation and modeling purposes.
Experience with dynamic simulation and load flow analysis.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
