Production Supervisor

Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety. You will lead a team of operators in a fast-paced environment, implementing best practices to optimize productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise daily production activities to meet production targets and quality standards
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations including HACCP, FDA, and USDA
Implement Lean manufacturing principles to enhance productivity
Manage and train production staff to ensure skill development and adherence to GMP practices
Conduct regular quality checks and enforce SQF and AIB standards
Analyze production metrics and identify areas for improvement using Six Sigma methodologies
Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient workflow and resource allocation
Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular safety audits

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in the food industry
Strong knowledge of HACCP, FDA, and USDA regulations
Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies
Familiarity with SQF and AIB standards
Ability to manage and lead a diverse team
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Engineering, or related field is preferred
