Who We Are

We are a 25+-year-old general contractor with experience in a diverse range of industries, including education, multi-family, industrial, government, office, retail, etc. We are looking for a Project Engineer to add to our growing team at our Santa Rosa, CA office. This role will have a career path to an Assistant PM and/or Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in coordinating all aspects of assigned projects, including scheduling, material ordering, and resource allocation, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
Maintain up-to-date and accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and daily reports, ensuring all records meet company standards and industry regulations.
Work closely with subcontractors to ensure they understand project scope, expectations, and timelines; monitor performance and coordinate activities to prevent delays.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks to ensure work aligns with plans, specifications, and building codes, promptly addressing any discrepancies or issues that arise.
Assist with budgeting, track project expenses, and manage cost-control measures, preparing regular financial updates to help keep the project within budget.
Maintain clear, proactive communication with clients, architects, and internal stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and addressing any concerns or requests.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Project Coordinator, or similar role or a degree in Construction, Engineering, or related field
