Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing engineering projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage engineering projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
- Create and review technical documentation and engineering designs.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
- Facilitate effective communication among project team members.
- Lead process improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing principles.
- Monitor project progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Solve complex engineering problems that arise during project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Engineer or similar role.
- Proficiency in CAD software and engineering design principles.
- Strong understanding of technical documentation and standards.
- Experience in risk management and quality assurance processes.
- Solid budgeting and financial management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong scheduling and organizational abilities.
- Proven problem-solving skills and a focus on process improvement.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is a plus.
- Experience in stakeholder management and engagement.
