Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater

Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager oversee and lead projects related to water treatment and wastewater management, ensuring compliance with regulations and delivering projects on time and within budget. The role involves close collaboration with stakeholders and managing a team to achieve project goals while maintaining a focus on quality and environmental considerations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage water treatment and wastewater projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to water and wastewater management.
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide project updates.
  • Oversee team performance and provide guidance to ensure project success.
  • Manage risks and implement mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation and reports.
  • Conduct quality assurance assessments to ensure project standards are met.
  • Coordinate with contractors and oversee contract management activities.
  • Support the construction process and address any issues that arise on-site.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the water/wastewater sector.
  • Strong knowledge of water treatment and wastewater management processes.
  • Experience in budgeting and financial management for projects.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance in the water/wastewater industry.
  • Proven track record in risk management and scheduling for complex projects.
  • Excellent leadership skills with experience managing teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and reporting practices.
  • Experience with construction management and quality assurance processes.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Bluebeam for project planning and documentation.
