Position Overview

Our growing steel shop urgently needs an experienced QC Manager with 5+ years of experience in quality control management, particularly in structural steel.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality control policies and procedures. Oversee product inspection and testing to ensure quality standards are met.
Manage and train a team of quality control inspectors.
Conduct audits for ISO standards and regulatory compliance.
Analyze quality control data to identify process improvements. Facilitate problem-solving initiatives for quality issues.
Maintain documentation related to quality control processes. Collaborate with other departments to enhance product quality.
Implement risk management strategies to minimize quality-related risks.

Required Qualifications

5+ years of QC management experience.
Structural steel experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Welding Inspector (CWI).
Experience with AISC standards.
Strong knowledge of ISO standards and regulatory compliance.
Bridge component experience.
