Engineering Manager
Salary: $180,000 - $230,000 DOE

We are an AI solutions startup that recently secured Series B funding! Our mission is to shape the future of the medical industry with our FDA-cleared computer vision capabilities. Currently, we're experiencing hyper-growth and are seeking a Software Engineering Manager to come join our remote first team. This role will be managing 4 engineers and will be hands on 30-50% of the time.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor a minimum of 4 software engineers in the development of innovative software solutions.
Collaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define project scope and objectives.
Design and implement scalable and secure system architecture using technologies such as Node.js and React.JS.
Oversee the software development lifecycle, ensuring quality and timely delivery of projects.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets to achieve successful project outcomes.
Implement best practices in software development and system architecture.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
Proficiency in Node.js and React.JS frameworks.
Experience with AWS services for cloud-based applications.
Strong understanding of software and system architecture principles.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead a team.
