Audit Senior

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in auditing principles and practices, with a focus on providing high-quality service to our clients. This role involves leading audit engagements, supervising junior staff, and ensuring compliance with GAAS and US GAAP standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion
Prepare financial statements in accordance with US GAAP
Perform audits in compliance with GAAS standards
Review the work of junior staff and provide mentorship
Conduct intermediate technical research on engagement discrepancies and technical issues for new and existing clients and communicate any related accounting and auditing matters to managers and partners
Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information
Identify areas for improvement in clients' internal controls and processes
Assist in the preparation of tax audit documentation as needed
Stay current on industry developments and regulatory changes

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
Minimum of 3+ years of audit experience within the manufacturing and consumer finance spaces highly preferred
Must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes 55+ hours a week during busy season
Strong knowledge of GAAS and US GAAP
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
CPA certification or eligibility to sit for CPA exam
Experience with ERISA Audits is a plus
