Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Development Manager to oversee our Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) projects. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of property management, real estate development, and compliance, with a strong focus on financial analysis and budgeting. This role involves managing stakeholders and collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful delivery of affordable housing projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage LIHTC development projects from conception to completion.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations related to LIHTC and affordable housing.
  • Conduct financial analysis and budgeting for new and existing projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including government agencies, investors, and community organizations.
  • Oversee property management and urban planning aspects of development projects.
  • Manage construction processes and coordinate with contractors and architects.
  • Prepare grant applications and proposals to secure funding for affordable housing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Urban Planning, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in real estate development, with a focus on LIHTC projects.
  • Strong knowledge of property management and affordable housing regulations.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and compliance reporting.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience in construction management and urban planning is preferred.
  • Familiarity with grant writing and securing funding for housing initiatives.
