Senior Plumbing Designer

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Plumbing Designer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing design, with a focus on utilizing Revit for creating detailed plumbing systems in MEP projects. The Senior Plumbing Designer will lead projects, ensuring high-quality design and compliance with relevant codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design of plumbing systems for a variety of projects using Revit.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other team members to develop integrated MEP designs.
Prepare detailed plumbing design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit.
Conduct site visits and inspections to assess existing conditions and ensure design implementation.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior designers and drafters.
Ensure compliance with local codes, regulations, and industry standards in plumbing design.
Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing design within the MEP industry.
Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for plumbing design.
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and regulations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
