ROLE: Tax Manager

SALARY: $100k-150k+ DOE

LOCATION: Roseville, CA (Hybrid)

Our Tax Manager provides external support to our Senior Tax Managers and Partners to ensure optimal client service while maintaining the policies and procedures of the firm. The Tax Manager is responsible for assisting with the leading / managing complex tax compliance engagements in a timely manner - meeting deadlines, staying within budget, while identifying and responding to client issues in a courteous and professional manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Reviews individual and business tax returns
Manages multiple projects, meet deadlines & maintain budgets
Strong ability to supervise, delegate and monitor workload of accountants
Offers options and alternatives regarding tax and case decisions for Senior Tax Manager / Partner approval
Nurtures relationships with clients, prospects and referral sources to generate and maintain client work
Assists with training and development of staff
Manages complex multiple engagements and projects, meet deadlines & maintain budgets
Ability to assist with formal presentations - internally and externally

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelors in Accounting or similar
5+ years of public accounting experience
Working knowledge of local, state and federal tax compliance and regulatory standards (GAAP)
Strong knowledge of tax software / systems
Management experience with proven leaderships skills / abilities
Maintains a CPA license in the state of California
