The Tax Senior/Supervisor (Real Estate Partnership) provides tax consulting and compliance services to real estate partnerships. This position is responsible for planning, researching, and analyzing various tax issues related to real estate investments. The Tax Senior will maintain current knowledge of real estate tax laws, conduct in-depth tax analysis, and prepare detailed tax reports outlining findings.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare complex tax returns documents to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with applicable tax laws
Analyze and identify tax saving strategies with respect to real estate transactions
Conduct research on the latest tax developments and regulation changes to determine their effects on real estate transactions
Monitor changes in tax law and update business practices as needed
Correspond with tax authorities to answer inquiries and discuss tax issues
Advise clients on the tax implications of their real estate investments
Perform ad-hoc projects as required

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
3+ years of experience in a corporate tax or public accounting role
CPA certification preferred
In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax laws
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
