Tax Manager

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Manager to lead our tax department and provide comprehensive tax compliance and planning services for our clients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with various entities including S-Corps, C-Corps, and Partnerships, and will be adept in managing high net worth individual tax strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and review tax compliance for various entities including S-Corps, C-Corps, partnerships, and high net worth individuals.
Prepare and review individual tax returns (1040), corporate tax returns (1120, 1120S), and partnership returns (1065).
Provide tax planning strategies and advice to clients, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Manage and lead tax research initiatives to address complex tax issues and provide guidance on tax positions.
Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand their financial situations and develop tailored tax solutions.
Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing training on tax preparation and compliance.
Prepare and review estate and gift tax returns (706, 709) and fiduciary tax returns (1041).
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax law changes and their implications on clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA designation required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on tax compliance and planning.
Strong knowledge of tax regulations for various entities including high net worth individuals.
Experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns for individuals and businesses.
Proficient in tax research, planning, and compliance software.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
