Tax Senior
Position Overview
The Tax Senior will be responsible for managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring compliance with all tax regulations. This role involves providing expert tax advice, preparing tax returns, and supervising junior staff. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in public accounting and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and review of complex tax returns for individuals and businesses.
- Provide tax planning and advisory services to clients.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
- Supervise and mentor junior tax staff during tax season and throughout the year.
- Stay current with tax law changes and advise clients accordingly.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with a focus on tax.
- Strong understanding of federal and state tax regulations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
