Job Location: Tampa, Florida

Position Overview
The Vice President of Project Management will oversee all project management activities within the organization, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This leadership role is responsible for driving the company's project management strategy, enhancing processes, and leading a team of project managers to achieve excellence in construction project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all project management functions for construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and implement project management strategies, policies, and procedures that align with organizational goals.
  • Oversee budget management, resource allocation, and financial performance of projects.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors and subcontractors to ensure favorable terms for the organization.
  • Monitor project risks and implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards in project execution.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery processes and outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of quality assurance and accountability within the project management team.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project managers, promoting professional development and team cohesion.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven experience in general contracting, budget management, and scheduling in construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of risk management principles and practices related to construction.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with compliance and regulatory requirements in the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
